CE Marking        

In 2008, the EC developed the New Legislative Framework to improve the Internal Market for goods and strengthen the conditions for placing a wide range of products on the EU Market.  It is a package of measures created to improve market surveillance, better the quality of conformity assessment and clarify the use of CE marking.                                                        

The letters "CE" are the abbreviation of French phrase "Conformité Européene" which literally means "European Conformity".           .

CE Marking on a product is a manufacturer's declaration that the product complies with the legal requirements for CE marking and can be sold throughout the European Economic Area (EEA).  US Tech specializes in and is accredited for testing to the standards included in the EMC Directive, RE Directive, and LV Directive.  Other Directives for which we have experience include the Machinery Directive, Medical Directive, and PPE Directive.
